Family Mediation Week - 16 - 20 January 2023

Family Mediation Week aims to increase awareness of mediation and its benefits to families through a series of events, discussions, articles and through social media.

From Lord Bellamy's speech at the launch event, through discussions with other professionals about how we can work together to help separating families, to conversations about how mediation works and barriers to access, the Family Mediation Council aims reach as many people as possible and for us all to understand more about mediation at the end of the week than we do at the beginning! Our events are free and online, so easily accessible to all.

You don't have to be a family mediator to show your support for mediation and Family Mediation Week! We will be able to reach many more people if we have your help, and in the process, you will also be promoting your own service, so read on to find out how to make the most of the week in a few easy steps!

1.    Download Your Guide to Getting Involved. There are lots of opportunities for you to take action to promote mediation and your business.

2.    Add the FMW logo to your e-mail footer with the dates 16-20 January 2023, and a link to the FMW page on the FMC website.

3.    Take a look at the timetable, put the events you would like to attend in your diary and alert colleagues or clients to events that may interest them. 

4.    Once you have thought about what you will do to reach out to your local community, tell us! Use the logo to make a pledge to promote mediation on social media along with hashtags #mymediatorpledge and #familymediationweek

5.    Follow us on social media and like and share our posts!
